Fight Xchange

FIGHT XCHANGE is an intimate and emotional portrait of six up and coming MMA fighters who travel overseas in order to train with some of the sport’s best, all while preparing for the biggest challenges of their lives and a chance at achieving their dreams of succeeding as professional MMA fighters.

the audience will learn to appreciate the world’s fastest growing sport by exposing the fighter’s life: the bone-jarring workouts, the sparring sessions, the brutal weight cuts, as well as the sacrifices they make to follow their dreams.
 

Come along as we dispel myths about the sport and show that it takes not only multidisciplinary athleticism, but honour and respect to achieve greatness. Witness the important role that women play in shaping this emerging sport, and watch as FIGHT XCHANGE presents a raw and very real glimpse into the passion, pain, angst and elation these young athletes endure, and that's even before stepping foot into the cage.

While some compete for fame, some for family honour, and others to put food on the table, THE FIGHT XCHANGE examines the culture of MMA fighting from two different cultural perspectives, and peers inside the sport as never before on television.

Season 1 was shot in Brazil and Canada. 
Season 2 due to deliver Oct 2015 will put the spot light in Canada and Japan.
