January 8th, 2015 - THE FREMANTLE CORPORATON (TFC) acquires Touring T.O. the new comedic series format from Toronto based producers Crazy Shirt Productions. Touring T.O. follows two unlikely friends and their intern who run a low-budget rickshaw tour company specializing in taking tourists to unique and obscure city landmarks. Together the Touring T.O. crew struggle to keep the company afloat while dealing with tourists as strange as the landmarks they visit. It's scripted comedy -- both educational and absurd.
TFC has also completed license agreements with several broadcasters, including new deals in Africa, Italy, Belgium, Brazil, Canada and the U.S.A announced TFC’s S. V.P. Diane Tripp.
Ignition Africa has picked up two more series in the Funkmaster Flex brand; Car Wars with Funkmaster Flex and Full Throttle with Funkmaster Flex. Looking at all things cars and restorations these series feature guests such as Drake, Nicki Minaj, P Diddy, Usher and many more. After the great success with Seasons one and two, AXN Africa has picked up season three of Bikini Beach with even more beach babes and sexy contests,. Hosted by Jim 'The Poorman' Trenton, season three of Bikini Beach is sure to heat things up.
RAI Italy has acquired a slew of stage to screen content including Direct from Broadway titles Jekyll & Hyde starring David Hasselhoff and Duke Ellington's Sophisticated Ladies. Also picked up by RAI was Caesar and Cleopatra starring the always brilliant Tony, Emmy and Oscar award winning Christopher Plummer, and the Tennessee Williams classic Cat On A Hot Tin Roof starring Jessica Lange and Tommy Lee Jones.
Sophisticated Ladies is making its debut in Brazil on Globosat along with the sexy season two of Lingerie. RTL Belgium nabbed the classic Tarzan series while Shout! Factory in the United States and Canada picked up the classic series The Campbells for Home Video..
